Day 1: Arrival Vellinge

Individual arrival in Vellinge. Vellinge was ranked one of the best place to live in Sweden in a Fokus magazine’s survey. It’s located only 4 km away from the Swedish west coast to Baltic Sea and 14 km from Malmö. Overnight stay in Vellinge area.

Day 2: Vellinge - Söderåsen National Park (93 km)

After breakfast, you meet your English speaking guide and the other group members. You ride on beautiful country lanes and through wide plains. On your way, you can visit the surroundings of Skabersjö Castle. Later, you reach Söderåsen National Park, one of the youngest national parks of Sweden.

Day 3: Söderåsen National Park - Degeberga (138 km)

Today’s stage is characterized by amazing forest landscapes with small waterfalls. Enjoy the typically Swedish nature, breath in the fragrance of the woods and don’t forget to take your swimming things in order to take a swim in one of the numerous lakes on your way. Crossing an idyllic nature area, you pass Maltesholm Castle that has one of the most beautiful parks of the historical region of Scania. You reach Degeberga, where you stay overnight.

Day 4: Degeberga - Blentarp (128 km)

Today, you mainly cycle through Österlen. The region became home of many Swedish artists because of its beautiful and inspiring nature and the historically interesting buildings: From the woods of central Sweden you ride to Stenshuvud National Park on the east coast of Sweden. You pass a 3,000 years old grave field and “Stone Head” (Stenshuvud) that has always served seamen as landmark. Later, you ride through a landscape characterized by vineyards and apple plantations.

Day 5: Blentarp - Vellinge (105 km)

After breakfast, you ride through several nature reserves with beautiful deciduous forests. Later, the landscape is characterized by wide plains. You pass castles and a castle ruin. If you want, you can visit one of the grounds, for example the one of Torup Castle. Finally, you reach your tour finish, Vellinge. You say goodbye to your tour guide and spend one more night in Vellinge.

Day 6: Departure Vellinge

If you want, you can go and see Öresund after breakfast, the Danish-Swedish strait in the Baltic Sea. Individual departure or extension.

    The guide of this tour is a passionate gravel biker. He lives in Skåne and knows this region and its gravel roads by heart. The guide is fluent in English.

Please note that some accommodations only have double beds, no twin beds. If you accept that, we are happy to check, if there are other participants who ask for a shared room.
