Legal basis of data processing

We process the personal data you provide in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), for the fulfillment of the travel contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures in response to your inquiry (travel offer).

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties, for example to hotels, in order to provide the contractual services owed by us. You have the right to be informed about the appropriate safeguards in connection with the transfer of personal data.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent already given at any time and object to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legal grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to processing of your personal data for the purpose of such marketing at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.

For this purpose, an informal e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out up until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Objection to advertising e-mails

The operator of the websites hereby objects to the use of contact information published within the scope of the imprint obligation for the transmission of not expressly requested advertising and information materials. The operator of the websites expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertisements, such as spam e-mails.

2. Data collection

One way in which your data is collected is when you provide it to us via a booking, inquiry or other contact form, by e-mail, by mail or by telephone. Further data is collected automatically by the web server when users visit our website. This is mainly technical data (e.g., Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

We store and process your personal data, which you provide to us by booking, inquiry or other contact form, by e-mail, by mail or by telephone for the fulfillment of the travel contract or for the preparation of offers and for the implementation pre-contractual measures in response to your inquiry.

The data provided by you in the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after we have completed processing your inquiry or booking). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

3. Plugins: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

Our website uses social plugins from the Facebook website operated by Facebook Inc. The operator of the websites is Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

Our website uses social plugins from the Instagram website operated by Instagram LLC. The operator of the websites is Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube, Facebook or Instagram plugin (recognizable, for example, by the respective widget), a connection is established to the servers of the respective operator. In doing so, the corresponding YouTube, Facebook or Instagram server will receive information about which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged in to your YouTube, Facebook or Instagram account, you enable the respective operator to link your browsing patterns directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube, Facebook and Instagram account.

YouTube, Facebook and Instagram are used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

Changes to the data protection declaration

We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changes in law or in the event of changes in services or data processing. We therefore ask the users to inform themselves regularly about the content.
